About This Model

The Peavey PV6 is a compact stereo mixing console built around two reference-quality mic preamps with an impressively low THD of 0.0007%, paired with 3-band shelving EQ (±15 dB) per channel. It accepts a wide range of sources via its combination XLR/¼" inputs, hi-Z guitar input, stereo line inputs, RCA and 3.5 mm connections, and a USB-B port that turns the unit into a class-compliant audio interface - no drivers needed for Mac or PC. On the output side you get ¼" main stereo outs, RCA outputs, dual selectable control room outputs, direct outs for recording, and a studio-quality headphone output. Handy extras include global 48V phantom power for condenser mics, a built-in stereo compressor, an 80 Hz low-cut filter, a master contour control, an effects send jack, aux send/return, and LED clip/signal indicators - making it a capable hub for small live rigs, podcasting, or desktop recording setups.
