About This Model
The Panasonic DMR-E50 is a tabletop DVD recorder supporting both DVD-RAM and DVD-R formats. DVD-RAM discs allow simultaneous recording and playback along with basic editing such as shortening and dividing programmes, while DVD-R offers write-once recording. Four recording modes provide between one and six hours of recording time per disc, with XP and SP modes delivering the best video quality. Connectivity includes two A/V inputs with S-Video, an RF input for cable or antenna, and a progressive-scan component-video output alongside an optical digital output. Additional features include MP3 CD playback and VCR Plus support.
