About This Model

The Panasonic DMR-E50 is a DVD-RAM/R recorder offering flexible home recording with support for DVD-RAM and DVD-R formats using VBR MPEG-2 encoding. DVD-RAM discs enable simultaneous recording and playback, a standout feature for time-shifted viewing. Playback covers DVD-Video, DVD-RAM, DVD-R, CD, MP3 CD, VCD, and CD-R/RW. The unit features a 10-bit/54MHz video D/A converter and 24-bit/96kHz audio conversion for clean signal handling.
