About This Model

The NAD 3020i is a stereo integrated amplifier delivering 20 watts per channel into 8Ω, with dynamic headroom capable of short-burst output of 40W into 8Ω, 58W into 4Ω, and 72W into 2Ω - giving it considerable punch beyond its rated figures. Inputs include a discrete 4-transistor MM phono stage, CD/Aux, Tuner, and Tape with record output, plus Pre-out and Main-in links for flexible system integration. A switchable 4Ω/8Ω speaker impedance selector and NAD's Soft Clipping circuit - which rounds off clipping peaks before they become audible distortion - make it forgiving with both speakers and source material. Frequency response extends from 6Hz to 80kHz with THD of just 0.03%, figures that underpin the 3020i's reputation for clean, musical reproduction at modest power levels.
