About This Model

The Origin Effects RevivalDRIVE Hot Rod Edition is a fully analogue, discrete transistor-based guitar effects pedal engineered to emulate the complete signal chain of a vintage valve amplifier - covering preamp, phase inverter, power amp, and rectifier stages. It features a synthesised mains power signal that replicates authentic amp behaviour, and offers two channels of aggressive high-gain tone, each with its own rectifier option. A GHOST control shapes sag and ghost-note response, while a fully adjustable mid boost delivers up to +8dB across a range spanning 780Hz to 1.9kHz. RE-AMP EQ controls (HI SHELF and BRI-CAP CUT trimmers) and a PWR AMP setting allow direct use with cabinet simulations, and DIP switches let you toggle the simulated mains frequency between US and GB standards. Remote footswitching is supported via a Switcher Interface or Remote Switcher Cable.
