About This Model

The Nord Electro 3 Seventy Three is a 73-key (F–F) stage keyboard built around three distinct sound engines: a C1 Combo Organ section modelling B3, Vox Continental, and Farfisa tonewheel and transistor organs via nine digitally controlled LED drawbars; a Piano section covering grand, upright, electric piano, Wurlitzer, and clavi/harpsichord voices drawn from 185 MB of onboard flash memory; and a Sample Library section with up to 50 user-replaceable samples stored in 68 MB of flash. The keyboard uses a semi-weighted Waterfall action suited to organ playing technique. Effects include rotary speaker simulation with adjustable speeds, tremolo, auto-wah, phaser, flanger, chorus, reverb, delay, and more. Connectivity covers stereo 1/4" outputs, headphone out, a 1/8" monitor input, sustain and expression pedal inputs, a rotary speaker switch jack, USB, and 5-pin DIN MIDI in and out.
