About this model
The MXR Rockman X100 is a fully analog guitar tone processor made in the USA, built around a MN3007 bucket-brigade chip for its chorus effect alongside a dynamic compression circuit and hard-clipping LED diodes for distortion. It offers four tonal presets - Clean 1, Clean 2, Edge (overdrive), and Distortion (high-gain) - switchable via footswitch, with an independently engageable chorus effect. Controls are kept minimal: two sliding faders for Input Gain and Volume, plus two buttons for Mode selection and Chorus. Connectivity includes a 1/4" input, a 1/4" TRS output supporting both mono and stereo operation, and a 1/4" TRS Ctrl jack for an external footswitch. The unit runs on 9V DC power only and features a buffered bypass.
