About This Model

The MXR M292 Carbon Copy Deluxe is an analog delay pedal built around bucket brigade device (BBD) technology, delivering the warm, organic character the Carbon Copy series is known for - but with significant upgrades. Delay time stretches up to 1.2 seconds, double that of the original Carbon Copy, and tap tempo with four selectable subdivisions (dotted 8th, 8th, triplet, and 16th note) lets you lock to any song's rhythm. Top-mounted Speed and Width controls dial in delay modulation, while a Bright switch toggles between the classic dark tone and a more articulate, open sound. Two programmable presets allow instant recall of favourite settings, and an expression pedal input adds real-time control over delay parameters. An internal Dry Kill switch enables wet-only output for use in parallel effects loops, and true bypass switching keeps your dry signal clean when the pedal is off.
