About This Model

The Monitor Audio SB-2 is a passive three-channel soundbar housing six drivers - three 4-inch C-CAM cone bass/mid drivers and three 1-inch C-CAM Gold Dome tweeters, one of each per Left, Centre, and Right channel - all within a single low-profile 1110 mm wide cabinet. Each channel uses an Auxiliary Bass Reflex loading arrangement, delivering a frequency response of 90 Hz to 30 kHz. Being a passive design, it requires an external AV receiver or amplifier rated between 30 and 100 W to drive it, with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms and a sensitivity of 84 dB (1W/1M). The cabinet is sized to integrate neatly with 50-60 inch televisions, sits on integrated silicone feet for top-of-cabinet placement, and is compatible with Monitor Audio's optional BSB wall bracket. The SB-2 carries a lifetime warranty from Monitor Audio.
