About This Model
The Monitor Audio Radius 225 is a slim, wall-mountable passive speaker built around two 4" C-CAM cone bass/mid drivers and a 1" C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter, delivering a frequency response of 80 Hz to 35 kHz. At just 65 mm deep, it is designed to sit flush against a wall or beneath ultra-thin displays, and includes a dedicated pre-construction wall bracket. A front-ported bass reflex enclosure using Monitor Audio's HiVe II port design supports clean low-frequency output, while single through-bolt driver fixing reduces cabinet resonance and distortion. With 87 dB sensitivity, 6-ohm nominal impedance, and 100 W RMS power handling, it is suited to amplifiers in the 40-150 W range and is capable of reaching 107 dBa maximum SPL.
