About this model
The Monitor Audio Apex AW-12 is a powered subwoofer built around a 12-inch C-CAM driver, driven by a 500W RMS (1000W peak) Class-D amplifier in a sealed 25mm MDF cabinet. It offers stereo RCA line-level inputs and an LFE input, plus RCA and LFE outputs for daisy-chaining an additional subwoofer. A variable crossover (40-120 Hz), selectable EQ profiles via a front panel button, and a 12V trigger input for automatic on/off control from an AV receiver make it straightforward to integrate into both home cinema and hi-fi systems.
