The Marshall Guv’nor is a distortion pedal designed and manufactured by Marshall Amplification, a renowned British company known for its iconic guitar amplifiers. Introduced in 1988, the Guv’nor was the first guitar pedal designed by Marshall and was intended to replicate the tone of their legendary tube amplifiers in a compact, solid-state pedal.
