About This Model

The Marantz PM6004 is a stereo integrated amplifier delivering 45 watts per channel into 8Ω, built around Marantz's proprietary HDAM (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Modules) and Current Feedback Topology for a characteristically musical, low-distortion sound. A toroidal power transformer provides stable, low-noise power, while a Source Direct mode bypasses tone circuitry for a purer signal path. Connectivity is generous for the class: six stereo RCA inputs including a built-in MM phono stage, two pairs of speaker binding posts (A/B switching), RCA pre-outs, and a full-size headphone output. Frequency response extends from 10 Hz to 70 kHz, and a damping factor of 100 ensures confident speaker control across a wide range of loads.
