This pair of Hi-Fi speakers is in fair condition. Our 7-point functional test was completed in full: all checks passed except all drivers. Note: Both speakers are in working order. One of the tweeters has started to go, as one speaker sounds slightly more muffled than the other. The pair still sounds very good, but there is a slight difference in clarity between the two. Cosmetically, there are quite a few surface marks, scratches and scuffs throughout, most notably on the corners of the speakers. One speaker is also missing two of its rubber feet; it still stands up perfectly, but this is worth noting. Please refer to the images provided. Please review all photos carefully, as they provide an accurate representation of the cosmetic condition of the product.

About this model

The Linn Kan is a compact passive two-way bookshelf loudspeaker, so it needs an external amplifier and speaker wire to run. It pairs a 19mm ceramic-domed tweeter with a 130mm woven glass-fibre midrange/woofer in a rear-ported bass-reflex cabinet, with a quoted frequency response of 70 Hz to 20 kHz (±3dB). The drive units are magnetically shielded, and at roughly 19 x 30 x 16 cm the Kan is designed to sit close to a wall to reinforce its bass. This pair is finished in black.
