About This Model

The Line 6 POD XT Pro is a rackmount guitar amp modeler and multi-effects processor built around 32-bit floating point processing. It delivers 42 amp models spanning Fender, Marshall, Mesa/Boogie, Vox, and Line 6 originals, paired with 24 cabinet models and 60 stompbox and studio effects, all stored across 128 channel memories. The unit's AIR (Acoustically Integrated Recording) technology models room acoustics, and a virtual microphone section lets you choose between dynamic and capacitor mic placements for a more realistic recorded tone. I/O is comprehensive for studio and live use: balanced XLR outs switchable between -10dBV and +4dBu, stereo unbalanced 1/4-inch jacks, AES/EBU, S/PDIF, and USB for direct computer recording at sample rates up to 96kHz and resolutions up to 24-bit. A programmable effects loop (series or parallel), full MIDI support, and a built-in chromatic tuner round out the feature set.
