About this model
The Lexicon MX300 is a stereo reverb and effects processor built around a quad-processor architecture with 24-bit, 128x oversampling AD/DA conversion running at 44.1kHz or 48kHz. It offers 16 Lexicon reverb algorithms, 7 delays, modulation effects, and dbx compression and de-essing, with 5 flexible routing options including Dual Mono, Series, and Parallel configurations. Connectivity is comprehensive: balanced 1/4" TRS and XLR analogue inputs and outputs sit alongside S/PDIF digital I/O and MIDI In/Out, plus a footswitch jack for hands-free control. A standout feature is its USB integration, which enables full parameter editing and patch storage via a Windows VST or Mac Audio Units plug-in - effectively turning the hardware into a software-controllable effects engine. Onboard memory holds 99 factory and 99 user programs, and the included MX-Edit software handles external patch management.
