About This Model

The Lexicon MPX 200 is a 1U rack-mounted stereo multi-effects processor built around Lexicon's proprietary LexiChip engine, offering 240 presets spanning reverb types (Plate, Hall, Chamber, Room, Ambience, Gate, Inverse), delay of up to 5.5 seconds, chorus, flange, tremolo, rotary speaker emulation, pitch shift, detune, echo, and more. It runs dual simultaneous effects with flexible routing — Cascade, Dual Mono, Dual Stereo, or Mono Split — and includes a built-in digital compressor with adjustable ratio (2:1 to 10:1), attack, and release controls acting on the input before the effects chain. I/O covers two unbalanced 1/4" inputs (with high-impedance direct instrument capability), two unbalanced 1/4" outputs (left output doubles as a TRS headphone out), coaxial S/PDIF at 24-bit/44.1kHz, a TRS footswitch jack for Bypass and Tap, and full MIDI In/Out-Thru with a MIDI Learn function. All conversion and internal processing runs at 24-bit. Tap tempo is available from the front panel or footswitch, 64 user memory locations allow custom patch storage, and Cue Program Mode enables seamless live patch switching.
