About This Model

The LAG Escapade GTE is a travel-format electro-acoustic guitar built around a solid spruce top with Khaya mahogany back and sides, giving it a warm, articulate tone in a compact, take-anywhere body. The Khaya neck carries a Brown Brankowood fingerboard with 20 medium silver nickel frets, a 43mm nut width, and a 600mm scale length - dimensions that keep playability comfortable despite the reduced footprint. On board electronics come via LAG's own Micro-Lâg preamp, offering volume control, a 2-band bass/treble EQ, and a built-in tuner, so the guitar is stage- and rehearsal-ready straight from the bag. Hardware throughout is black - die-cast tuning pegs, graphite nut, and a Brown Brankowood bridge - while the satin open-pore finish keeps the neck fast and the overall aesthetic understated. Coated phosphor bronze light strings (12-52) are fitted as standard.
