About This Model

The Korg SP-250 is an 88-key portable digital piano built around Korg's Real Weighted Hammer Action 3 (RH3), offering selectable Light, Normal, or Heavy touch sensitivity for a responsive, piano-like feel. Its stereo PCM sound engine provides 30 preset tones - spanning six piano voices, six electric pianos, organs, strings, choirs, and more - with 60-note polyphony. The onboard amplification runs to 22 watts total across two 4-inch dual-cone speakers in a bass-reflex enclosure, making it capable of filling a room without an external amp. Connectivity includes stereo line outputs, dual headphone jacks, MIDI In/Out, and a sustain pedal input, while extras such as a built-in metronome, Key Transpose, Fine Tuning, and historical temperament options (Kirnberger, Werckmeister, and Equal) add genuine musical versatility.
