This equaliser is in good condition. It has passed our 13-point functional test; no faults found. Note: Fully tested. It powers on and everything we checked works as it should. A few light surface marks and scratches from use, none of which affect how it works. About this model
The Klark-Teknik DN 300 is a 30-band, 1/3 octave analogue graphic equaliser covering ISO frequencies from 25 Hz to 20 kHz, with up to ±12 dB of boost or cut per band. It uses Klark Teknik's proprietary MELT filters in place of conventional inductor-based circuits to keep low-frequency distortion and phase errors down, and the 30 oil-damped 45mm faders have a centre detent for precise settings. Inputs and outputs are electronically balanced on Neutrik 3-pin XLR connectors, and the unit adds swept high-pass and low-pass filters, an EQ In/Out bypass switch, an earth lift switch, an LED overload indicator and power-off bypass relays. Built in the UK in a 19" 2U rackmount chassis, it suits live sound, installed systems and studio monitoring where fine tonal shaping and ground-loop control are needed.
