About This Model

The Kenwood KA-3020 is a solid-state integrated stereo amplifier delivering 45W per channel into 8Ω (THD 0.05%), with a wide frequency response stretching from 5Hz to 100,000Hz. It offers a well-rounded set of inputs - CD, Tuner, Aux, Phono, and two Tape inputs - alongside dual Tape outputs and A/B speaker switching for two sets of loudspeakers. A built-in MM phono stage makes it a natural partner for a turntable, while tone controls (Bass and Treble, ±10dB) and a Loudness function add everyday flexibility. For purists, a Source Direct button bypasses the tone stack entirely, keeping the signal path clean. Internally, Kenwood employed a pure signal ground line and a logical signal-flow layout to minimise interference - a thoughtful touch at this level.
