This pair of Hi-Fi speakers is in very good condition. They have passed our 5-point functional test; no faults found. Note: Fully tested, and everything we checked works as it should. The audio is clear and the sound quality is very good. Cosmetically, there are a few surface marks and scratches throughout. Most notably, one speaker is missing the screws for the mounts. The mounts are not included, although the other speaker still has its screws in place. There is also slight damage to the bottom of this speaker, where some of the wood laminate has started to peel. Please refer to the images provided. Please review all photos carefully, as they provide an accurate representation of the cosmetic condition of the product.

About this model

The KEF Q500 is a two-and-a-half-way bass-reflex floorstanding speaker built around KEF's Uni-Q coaxial array, which pairs a 1" tweeter with a 5.25" midrange driver in the same aluminium assembly for wide, even dispersion. A 5.25" aluminium woofer and two auxiliary bass radiators handle the low end, giving a quoted frequency response of 40Hz to 40kHz. With an 87dB sensitivity, 8 ohm impedance and a recommended amplifier range of 15 to 130 watts, it suits a wide range of stereo amplifiers. Internal bracing helps reduce cabinet resonance, and five-way binding posts with an internal link allow for bi-wiring.
