About This Model

The Kaotica Eyeball is a passive acoustic foam isolation device designed to wrap around side-address condenser microphones with diameters between 38–57mm. It works without any power source or electrical connections, physically encasing the mic head in high-density acoustic foam to reduce ambient room noise and unwanted reflections at the point of capture. An integrated silicone pop filter is built in to minimise plosive sounds, and the design allows for focused, controlled recordings in untreated spaces without the need for a dedicated vocal booth or large reflection shield. The silicone pop filter is dishwasher safe, and the foam body can be cleaned with a lint roller or damp cloth.
