About This Model

The Kanto SUB8 is a compact powered subwoofer built around an 8-inch front-firing paper cone driver in a sealed MDF cabinet. Its Class D amplifier delivers 150 Watts RMS (300 Watts Peak), covering a frequency range of 35 Hz to 175 Hz. Integration into an existing system is handled via RCA line-level input, with a variable low-pass filter adjustable between 40 Hz and 120 Hz and a 0°/180° phase switch allowing precise blending with satellite speakers. An auto power on/off circuit detects incoming signal and manages standby automatically. The compact, near-cubic enclosure (roughly 11 inches in each dimension) makes it easy to place in smaller rooms or desktop setups.
