About This Model

The ISP Technologies Decimator II is a dedicated noise gate and expander pedal designed to eliminate hum, hiss, and interference from guitar signal chains. It uses ISP's patented Linearised Time Vector Processing to track the guitar signal directly, delivering a smooth, ripple-free release on sustained notes without constant threshold tweaking. The pedal offers greater than 100dB of dynamic range and more than 60dB of effective noise reduction, making it one of the more capable noise reduction solutions available in pedal form. It features a single 1/4" input and output, and includes LINK IN and LINK OUT jacks via 1/8" phone cords, allowing two Decimator II units to track the guitar signal simultaneously across multi-amp or stereo rigs. The unit runs on 9V DC or two AA batteries and is housed in a polished chrome chassis.
