About This Model
The Fender Frontman 15R is a 15-watt solid-state practice amplifier built around a 1x8 inch speaker in a closed-back cabinet, which lends it a fuller bass response than open-back designs of similar size. It offers two channels - Clean and Drive - covering everything from clear picked tones to crunchy overdrive, and features a built-in spring reverb that sets it apart from the basic 15G variant. An auxiliary input lets you play along to external audio sources, while a headphone output makes silent practice straightforward. Blackface-style skirted knobs and silver grille cloth give it a classic Fender aesthetic.
