This Emagic / Apple / Mackie Logic Control is sold as spares or repairs. The device fails its calibration routine on power-up: the faders and controls do not initialise correctly and normal operation is not possible. It has not passed our functional test and no functions are warranted as working. It also shows signs of previous use, including scratches, scuffs and general cosmetic wear. Please review all photos carefully, as they provide an accurate representation of the cosmetic condition of the product.

About This Model
The Logic Control is a control surface originally designed by Emagic in cooperation with Mackie as a dedicated hardware controller for the Logic digital audio workstation. It was manufactured by Mackie but distributed by Emagic, and was followed roughly six months later by a physically identical Mackie Control that supported most major DAWs but not Logic. Each unit provides eight channels, with every channel carrying a motorised 100mm touch-sensitive Penny & Giles fader at 10-bit resolution, a V-Pot endless rotary encoder with LED position ring and integrated push button, and four illuminated buttons for record, solo, mute and channel select, above a backlit multi-function LCD and seven-segment displays for channel assignment and song position. Emagic was later acquired by Apple, and the design went on to become the template that Mackie Control protocol support in modern DAWs is still built around. A fader calibration error on start-up is a recognised failure mode on these units, typically traced to a single faulty fader assembly.
