About This Model

The Electro-Voice Sx100+ is a passive 2-way PA loudspeaker built around a 12" low-frequency transducer and a 1" exit DH3 compression driver with a titanium diaphragm. It handles 200W continuous (800W peak) and delivers a frequency response of 60 Hz to 25 kHz, with a maximum SPL of 127 dB. The constant-directivity Varipath horn provides a focused 65° x 65° coverage pattern, making it well-suited for live sound reinforcement and speech applications where controlled dispersion matters. EV's Ring-Mode Decoupling (RMD) technology reduces enclosure resonance for improved vocal intelligibility. The cabinet is built from copolymer with a powder-coated steel grille, and connects via dual Neutrik Speakon NL4 inputs. It also features an integral monitor wedge position, pole mount, and M8 rigging points for flexible deployment. An external amplifier (8 ohms nominal) is required.
