About This Model

The Electro-Voice RE11 is a supercardioid dynamic microphone built around EV's Variable-D design, which maintains consistent off-axis rejection even as the mic is moved off-axis during handheld use. It uses an Electro-Voice Acoustalloy diaphragm and covers a frequency response of 90-13,000 Hz with a low nominal impedance of 150 ohms. An integrated blast filter helps control plosives without a separate pop shield, while mechanical nesting provides internal shock resistance. A bass-tilt switch makes it adaptable for boom-stand use, and the steel body with its 187mm length and 45mm diameter gives it a solid, stage-ready build at just 170g.
