About This Model

The Electro-Harmonix POG2 is a fully polyphonic octave generator, capable of processing chords and simultaneous notes without the glitching or bitcrushed artifacts associated with earlier pitch-shifting designs. It blends up to five octave harmonics — two sub-octaves, dry signal, and two octaves up — each controlled by dedicated sliders alongside Attack, Low Pass Filter, and Detune controls. A Q button adds resonance to the filter, and a Dry FX button routes the dry signal through the Attack, LPF, and Detune effects for further shaping. Eight programmable presets can be stored and recalled instantly via a preset knob and footswitch, making it practical for live use. The pedal runs on a 9V DC supply, features true bypass, and uses a single 1/4" input and output.
