About This Model
The DPA 4066 Core+ is an omnidirectional condenser headset microphone built around DPA's CORE+ architecture, which expands dynamic range and keeps distortion below 1% THD up to 133 dB SPL (137 dB peak). It covers a full 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response with a sensitivity of 6 mV/Pa, a dynamic range of 111 dB (A-weighted), and an equivalent noise floor of just 26 dB(A). The tiny 5.4 mm capsule sits on an adjustable boom that can be configured for left or right-side wear, and the dual-ear mount keeps the mic locked in place during active performance. The IP58-rated, Kevlar-reinforced cable withstands the demands of live stage use, while included high-boost and soft-boost grids allow tonal shaping to suit different voices and environments. Power is accepted from 5 V to 50 V via DPA adapters, with 48 V phantom power also supported through compatible DPA adapter cables.
