About this model
The Denon PMA-720AE is a stereo integrated amplifier delivering 50 watts per channel into 8Ω and 85 watts per channel into 4Ω, making it a capable and flexible centrepiece for a home hi-fi system. It features five line-level inputs alongside a built-in moving-magnet phono stage, catering to both digital sources and turntable users in a single unit. A pre-amplifier output and 6.3 mm headphone output add further versatility, while Direct Mode allows the signal path to bypass tone controls for a purer listen. Under the hood, Advanced High Current (AHC) transistors underpin its amplification circuit, and gold-plated connectors are used throughout. The unit also supports two sets of speakers and includes tone, balance, and loudness adjustments for those who prefer a more tailored sound.
