About This Model

The DALI ALTECO C-1 is a 2-way closed-box loudspeaker built around a 4.5-inch wood fibre cone woofer and a 21 mm soft textile dome tweeter, crossing over at 2,100 Hz. Its standout feature is a Dual Sound Mode that allows the speaker to be positioned either up-firing - directing sound toward the ceiling for Dolby Atmos, DTS-X, or Auro-3D height channels - or down-firing for conventional stereo and close-listening setups, making it unusually versatile within a compact 265 × 160 × 200 mm enclosure. Sensitivity is rated at 83 dB and nominal impedance at 6 ohms, with a recommended amplifier power range of 40-100 watts and a frequency range extending to 25,000 Hz. The sealed enclosure and wood fibre cone design work together to keep resonance low and transient response controlled.
