About This Model

The Chapman ML3 Modern is a hardtail electric guitar built around an alder body with an ash veneer top and a satin finish, paired with a maple neck in a comfortable C-shape profile and a recessed bolt-on joint. The fretboard is Macassar Ebony with rolled edges, 24 jumbo nickel frets, and a 648mm (25.5") scale length. At the heart of the instrument are Chapman's own Sonorous Zero humbuckers - ceramic-magnet pickups with a bridge output of 12.5k ohms and a neck output of 10.5k ohms - controlled via master volume, master tone, and a 3-way blade switch; a push-pull coil split on the tone pot opens up single-coil tones from both positions. The Chapman String Through Hardtail bridge and 18:1 closed tuners keep tuning stable, while ergonomic body contours - arm carve and heel contour - make extended playing sessions comfortable.
