About this model
The Cambridge P55 is a stereo integrated amplifier delivering 55 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 76 watts into 4 ohms. It includes a phono input that supports both moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) cartridges, alongside Aux, Tuner, CD and Tape line-level inputs. Treble and bass tone controls offer adjustment of +/-4dB at 10kHz and +/-5dB at 100Hz. Users often describe its sound as big-boned and warm, particularly through the phono stage, making it a natural centrepiece for a turntable-based hi-fi system.
