About this model
The Cambridge Audio EXN100 is a streaming preamplifier and network player built around an ESS ES9028Q2M SABRE32 Reference DAC, capable of handling PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD 512 via USB. Its 100-step digital volume control allows it to drive a power amplifier directly, with both RCA and balanced XLR analog outputs on hand. Digital inputs include HDMI eARC, coaxial, optical, USB-B, and a USB-A port for local storage. Network connectivity covers Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD, while streaming platform support spans Roon Ready, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and MQA. RS-232 and Bus Control ports also allow integration into home automation systems.
