About this model
The Cambridge Audio CXN V2 is a network audio streamer and DAC built around dual Wolfson WM8740 24-bit DACs, paired with Cambridge Audio's second-generation ATF2 adaptive time filtering - developed with Anagram Technologies - which upsamples incoming audio to 24-bit/384kHz. It supports high-resolution playback up to 24-bit/192kHz PCM and DSD64, handling formats including FLAC, WAV, ALAC, AIFF, MP3, AAC, OGG Vorbis and more. Analogue outputs cover both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA, while digital I/O includes S/PDIF coaxial and TOSLINK optical in both directions, plus a USB Type B input for computer audio. Two USB Type A ports accept external storage, and networking is handled via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Streaming credentials are strong: the CXN V2 is Roon Ready and supports AirPlay 2, Chromecast Built-in, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Qobuz, making it a versatile hub for virtually any streaming service or local library.
