About this model
The Burns London Marquee Club Series is a solid-body electric guitar built around three Burns Tri-Sonic or Alnico Rez-o-matik pickups, controlled via a master volume, two tone controls, and a five-way selector switch. Its alder or basswood body pairs with a bolt-on hardrock maple neck, a rosewood or maple fingerboard, 22 frets, and a 25.5" scale length - all with a 43mm nut width. The distinctive scroll headstock, Burns deluxe tremolo unit, and chrome hardware give it a characterful vintage-influenced aesthetic. Developed as a more accessible version of the Burns Hank Marvin signature guitar, the Marquee Club Series earned Guitar of the Year honours in both 1999 and 2000.
