About This Model

The Bowers & Wilkins LCR600 S3 is a passive centre-channel loudspeaker built around a 2.5-way design with three drivers: a 25mm titanium dome tweeter and two 130mm Continuum Cone mid/bass drivers. The tweeter sits within a longer tube-loading system engineered to reduce unwanted vibrations, while intersecting trim rings around the drivers work to improve imaging precision. With an 8 Ω impedance, 89 dB sensitivity, and a frequency range extending to 42,000 Hz, the speaker is designed to be driven by an amplifier rated between 25 and 150 Watts. Connection is via binding posts for standard speaker cable - there are no electronic inputs, as this is a purely passive unit.
