About this model
The Bowers & Wilkins CM1 S2 is a compact bookshelf loudspeaker that brings genuine hi-fi engineering into a modest footprint. At its heart is a 25mm Decoupled Double Dome aluminium tweeter derived from B&W's Nautilus tube-loaded technology, which isolates the tweeter from the cabinet to reduce resonance and distortion, paired with a 130mm woven Kevlar® cone bass/midrange driver crossing over at 4kHz. The vented-box enclosure uses B&W's Flowport™ bass reflex design to extend low-frequency response down to 45Hz, while the clean, screw-free cabinet face and magnetically attached fabric grille reflect the attention to detail the CM series was known for. With a nominal 8Ω impedance and sensitivity of 84dB SPL, these speakers are well suited to amplifiers rated anywhere from 30W to 300W. This pair is finished in Rosewood and comes complete with original box and manuals.
