About this model

The Boss VE-2 Vocal Harmonist is a compact stompbox designed for singers who play guitar. It uses Auto Harmonist technology to detect incoming guitar chords and automatically generate up to two-voice vocal harmonies, choosing from 24 harmony types. A hybrid mode also allows manual key selection to be combined with guitar input for greater flexibility. Onboard studio-style delay and reverb effects, real-time pitch correction, and dynamic enhancement round out the processing toolkit. Connectivity includes an XLR microphone input with phantom power, a 1/4" guitar input, XLR and 1/4" outputs, and a 1/8" TRS headphone/line output, alongside USB Type B for computer recording. Three user memories allow quick recall of favourite settings, and the unit runs on four AA batteries or a 9V DC adapter.
