About This Model
The Boss GT-1B is a dedicated bass multi-effects processor built around the same flagship sound engine found in the GT-100, delivering 24-bit AF Method processing at 44.1 kHz. It offers 90 effects and 13 bass-specific preamp and cabinet models, covering a wide range of tones from clean to heavily processed. The unit features an onboard expression pedal and three footswitches, a 32-second phrase looper, built-in tuner, and metronome. Connectivity includes a 1/4" instrument input, 1/8" stereo aux in, stereo 1/4" TRS expression input, dual 1/4" outputs, 1/8" headphone out, and USB for both audio interfacing and patch editing via Tone Studio software. With 99 factory and 99 user presets and a compact, pedalboard-friendly footprint, the GT-1B runs on four AA batteries or an optional 9V DC adapter.
