About This Model
The Boss BD-2 Blues Driver is an analog overdrive pedal designed to deliver warm overdrive and emotive distortion that simulates the character of a tube amplifier. It responds dynamically to picking nuance and guitar volume changes, making it expressive under the player's hand. Connections are a single 1/4" input and a single 1/4" output, with a Tone control for shaping the frequency response. It runs on either a 9V battery or a 9V DC power supply (PSA-series, sold separately), draws just 9 mA, and uses buffered bypass switching.
