About this model
The Blackstar HT Metal 5 is a 5-watt all-tube combo built for high-gain playing at manageable volumes. It pairs a preamp ECC83 valve with a push-pull power stage using a 12BH7 dual triode, designed to deliver the crunch and compression of a much larger amp. Two footswitchable channels (Clean and Overdrive) are joined by Blackstar's patented ISF control, which sweeps the tone network from classic British metal to modern scooped US high gain, plus digital stereo reverb and a 12-inch Blackbird 50 speaker. An effects loop with a +4dBV/-10dBV level switch, a stereo MP3/line input, and a speaker-emulated output with 1x12 and 4x12 voicings for headphone or direct recording make it equally suited to practice, recording and small-stage use.
A great opportunity to own a Blackstar HT Metal 5 at this price point.
