About the item

The Behringer Intelligate XR2000 is a two-channel expander, gate and ducker in a rack-mount case. The lid says it in full: "The interactive Class-A expander/gate/ducker, model XR2000". A gate mutes a signal when it drops below a level you set, which keeps hiss, hum and spill out of the gaps.
