About This Model

The Behringer Europower EP4000 is a high-output professional power amplifier delivering 1,400 W per channel into 4 ohms, 2,000 W per channel into 2 ohms, or 4,000 W in bridge mode into 4 ohms. It uses Class H complementary linear output circuitry and incorporates Behringer's proprietary Accelerated Transient Response (ATR) technology, designed to enhance bass punch and transient clarity. Connectivity includes balanced XLR and 1/4" TRS inputs with selectable sensitivity, Speakon NL4 outputs, and touch-proof binding posts. Onboard protection features include independent DC and thermal overload protection per channel, switchable limiters to prevent clipping, and selectable low-frequency filters at 30 Hz or 50 Hz. A back-to-front ventilation system with an air filter handles thermal management, while front-panel Power, Signal, and Clip LEDs provide at-a-glance monitoring.
