About This Model

The Behringer DDM4000 is a 5-channel, 32-bit digital DJ mixer with an extensive feature set aimed at performance-focused DJs. It accepts four stereo phono/line channels alongside two XLR microphone inputs, and outputs via XLR main out, RCA booth and subwoofer outputs, and a coaxial S/PDIF digital output for direct recording. Two freely assignable BPM-synchronized effects engines deliver processing including bitcrusher, resonator, reverb, and flanger, while a built-in beat-controlled sampler adds further creative flexibility. The digital crossfader offers adjustable curve, reverse, BPM-synchronized crossfading, and frequency-selective crossfading. MIDI In, Out, and Thru connections - combined with over 80 mappable controls - make it a capable hardware controller for DJ software as well as a standalone mixer.
