About This Model

The Audio-Technica ATW-R700 is a UHF diversity wireless receiver from the 700 Series Freeway range, covering 542.125-561.250 MHz with 8 selectable frequency-coordinated channels and an operating range of up to 300 feet. Its dual-antenna diversity system uses logic circuitry to continuously monitor and select the stronger signal, reducing dropouts during live use. The receiver features Tone Lock™ squelch, which opens the audio output only when a compatible 700 Series transmitter is detected, and supports automatic channel scanning via soft-touch controls. Audio output is available simultaneously via balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" TS connections, with a frequency response of 100 Hz to 12 kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of over 80 dB. Up to 8 systems can be run simultaneously on coordinated channels, making it a practical choice for multi-transmitter setups.
