The Amcron Macro-Tech 2400 is a professional-grade power amplifier delivering 520 watts per channel into 8Ω, 800 watts into 4Ω, and 1,100 watts into 2Ω in stereo operation. In bridge-mono mode it puts out 1,650 watts into 8Ω or 2,070 watts into 4Ω, making it suitable for demanding live sound and installation applications. It accepts balanced XLR and balanced quarter-inch jack inputs, outputs via 5-way binding posts, and includes a ground lift switch to isolate signal grounds from AC chassis ground. Protection and monitoring are handled by ODEP circuitry — which compensates for overload and overheating conditions — and an IOC indicator that flags distortion exceeding 0.05%. The unit supports stereo, bridge-mono, and parallel-mono operating modes, offers selectable input sensitivity, and accommodates plug-in PIP cards for expanded functionality.
