About this model
The Alto Professional Live 1604 is a 16-channel, 4-bus analog mixer built for live sound and recording applications. It features 10 DNA™ microphone preamps with switchable 48V phantom power, onboard analog compression on channels 1-6, and a 3-band EQ with sweepable mids on every channel. A 9-band graphic EQ is available for the main or monitor outputs, and 100 Alesis 24-bit DSP effects - including reverb, delay, chorus, and flanger - are accessible via a rotary encoder. The four buses cover Main L/R, Sub Mix 1, Sub Mix 2, and Aux 1/2, with four aux sends per channel and pre/post switching on sends 1 and 2. Bi-directional 24-bit USB audio allows direct recording of the main or sub mix to a computer, or playback of computer audio through the mixer. Outputs include balanced XLR and balanced/unbalanced 1/4" connections for mains and sub mixes, plus a dedicated headphone output with independent level control.
